Bruised by some disbelief
that came and begged a light
off you
The talking heart finally
a little quieter
I wanted to trade places
feel you up inside
belonging to something
other than the Same
In the process of
pulling on your exoskeleton
with your sheets of withering
romance
and taking some embraces
to become exercises in anatomy
The fascination
is an ongoing ritual
But now you’re coming to the ceremony
naked
