To Disappear

I finally slide to the ground
not keeping myself
upright anymore
confused and disappearing
the tension
almost strong enough
to lift me up instead
of running to the next hideout
dressing in skirts
then to be found
running down Osborne
with some cheap vodka
bottle gripped so hard in my hands
I have forgotten
how much is left in it
and I want my cape
damn it, I can rock like Gaugin too
I can steer
